The Hindi word "Dhurrie" means coarse cotton or wool, hand woven in India in a flat weave in various intricate designs. These have been hand woven for centuries and we are pleased to see this art being preserved by presenting to you in our own contemporary.  This flat weave dhurrie runner is hand woven by our artisans in the their own homes in suburban villages of Jaipur. Made from hard wearing natural and sustainable cotton to create a unique self pattern and texture. You may find small variations in the colour and cotton yarn thickness, which makes each rug unique in its own way. Perfect in the kitchen, corridor or bedside.
